Detroit Lions en route to the Big Easy with all the motivation they need

Shortly after the Superdome is cleaning up after the victory of the University of Michigan in the sugar bowl, the exterior dome reading “Kitty here.”

Week 13 Sunday night game between the two teams resulted in the Saints win, one of the Lions must have wanted to return on Saturday.  Super-sized trash talk will definitely make their wishes are far more powerful.

Since the last matchup between the Big Easy and a great big felines, much has changed.  After the loss of the Saints, Detroit soon went on a three-game winning streak before losing heartbreaker in dramatic Green Bay.  More importantly, the team has gotten healthy (and Unsuspended).  Especially defensively, the lion is going to be a completely new team than the Saints saw five weeks ago.  Ndamukong Suh will overcome the defense on the field this time, and will be looking to make up for lost time and forcing quarterback Drew Brees to feel his presence.  Corner of Chris Houston will also be active for this matchup as well, and will provide the body which can run a quiet to calm down with wide receiver Marques Colston.
